Vacation (100 word post, 4 of 50)

I am taking the first vacation I’ve had in 14 months. It’s for 10 days, 240 hours. Here are the highlights so far:
Hour 1: My wife looks at me and mutters, “10 days.”
Hour 39: My wife informs me she will never speak to me again.
Hour 44: I watch a baseball game with my dad.
Hour 88: I am forced to shave my new beard because my daughter feels I’ll be profiled by the police as a terrorist and the remaining mustache when my wife says I look like a child molester.
Hour 96: I write this post.
